Nate Stupar excited to play in front of Saints fan base that is ‘a lot more passionate’ than Atlanta’s

And Stupar likes the view from the Crescent City. “I think it’s cool to have that perspective, I kind of know what kind of team they are and what kind of team this is,” Stupar told reporters at the saints Celebrity Golf Classic in Kenner Monday. “I can tell you what, the fan base is a lot more passionate down here. They stick behind each other.” Stupar, who spent two seasons in Atlanta before signing a three-year, $5 million deal in New Orleans this offseason, hasn’t forgotten what it’s like to be a visiting player in the Superdome.
